Nurse Practitioners
   
Nurse Practitioners are registered nurses with advanced academic and
clinical experience who can diagnose and treat most common illnesses.
Nurse Practitioners work in collaboration with a physician, prescribe
medication and focus on patient education.

Glenna Allbritton,
Nurse Practitioner


   Glenna Allbritton received her bachelor's degree in nursing at West Texas State University in Amarillo, Texas. She received her master's degree in nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington. She is nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and also a Certified Gerontological Nurse.
   "I've been honored to work at ARC for almost ten years," said Glenna. "The patients and staff here at ARC give meaning to my life, and I'm so fortunate to be able to help people in some small way."


Valerie Palmere Scott,
Nurse Practitioner


Valerie has a masters’ in nursing from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches. She has also earned a masters’ in business administration from Centenary College. Valerie is also a certified clinical densitometrist and a member of the International Society of Densitometry. She enjoys playing the bass guitar and singing. Valerie strives to “walk the path of a Christian” in all areas of her life and is guided by
I Corinthians 13:4-7, “Love is patient; kind and envies no one. Love is never boastful, nor conceited, nor rude; never selfish, not quick to take offense. Love keeps no score of wrongs, and does not gloat over others' sins (paraphrase)..
